Around 1 in 6 employees experience mental health issues and just 13% of employees feel comfortable discussing their mental health in the workplace.
There are various events and awareness days across the year, run by charities and organisations that support positive mental health. This month, from 13th to 19th May, mental health campaign charity Mind promotes Mental Health Awareness Week with the theme #NoMindLeftBehind. The campaign encourages anyone experiencing a mental health problem to take the first step to getting help.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, our Compliance Officer and Mental Health First Aider Charlotte King wanted to take the opportunity to talk about Action for Happiness, a movement of people taking positive action, and a few things that everyone can think about, taking action to become happier and kinder together to give a boost to our mental health.
Together, let’s help to break the stigma surrounding mental health and promote understanding and compassion.
