Naveed Tabassam and Shazad Khan are our joint Colleagues of the Month at the busy Maersk Tamworth site. Both officers work in the gatehouse of this busy facility, which is a critical hub in the Maersk network, boasting a massive 32,089 m² of bonded warehouse space. Located just minutes from the Birmingham Intermodal Freight Terminal with access to five major UK ports, the site is a hive of activity, handling everything from quality control and kitting to global distribution.

On a site as high-profile and active as Maersk Tamworth, gatehouse security is the first line of defence. Effective access control is vital for protecting the workforce, high-value assets, and the site’s BREEAM "Excellent" reputation. By meticulously managing vehicle movements and verifying credentials, Naveed and Shazad provide the foundation of safety that allows the client to focus on their complex logistics operations without worry.
