Carl is the newest recruit to 4 Site Security’s systems team. He started as Business Development Manager - a new role for systems – in November 2023. With his wide experience in national accounts for a leading security company, Carl is well placed to carry out the key tasks of his job and growing sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
Carl is responsible for developing business relationships with potential new clients and for supporting the partnerships we have with existing clients. “As people’s needs change, I make sure that they have the best systems in place to support their security strategy,” explains Carl. He manages the business development contact database, as well as researching brand new opportunities. “Communication is vitally important. My job is 100% about creating and cementing good relationships built on trust and about getting the best outcomes for our clients. I am confident that when we tell our clients we can do it, we will do it.”
The thing that Carl says he most enjoys about his job is that 4 Site Security is so customer focused and works with integrity.
A self-confessed supporter of Leeds United – from his armchair! – Carl’s hobbies are cycling “when it stops raining”, and music “listening to everything from heavy metal to dance music and funk and soul”.
We asked Carl: What is the best piece of advice you've ever been given and how have you applied this?
“The best piece of advice I’ve applied to my life is ‘fish or cut bait’, in other words stop just saying that you’ll do something and actually take action to do it. Commit to doing something productive or step aside and stop wasting time.”
