Nathan began his role of Business Development Manager for 4 Site Security around three and a half years ago. He was living in Lanzarote and wanted to get back into the security industry and move to Yorkshire. Initially, Nathan’s role was carried out remotely as he started this at the height of the Covid pandemic and lockdown.

“My job is to work with our telesales executive to help grow the business,” says Nathan, “I believe in supporting clients through strong relationships built on transparency and honesty, with advice and information that will help them. I started out on the security front line in guarding and have strong operations experience, so there isn’t much that our operations team and I haven’t seen in this industry. We all act as great sounding boards for each other and together we help clients get the best possible security solution.”

His favourite things about working for 4 Site Security are the great team spirit, the friendships, and the flexibility, trust and support from colleagues.

In his free time, Nathan enjoys watching as much sport as possible and being a hands-on dad to his 11 year and six month old boys. He loves playing football with his son on a Saturday afternoon.

We asked Nathan: Do you have a quote that inspires you and why?
Nathan said: “My quotes are from my dad, who was also in sales, and who told me that the job is 95% perspiration and 5% inspiration. This inspired me to always work hard and never settle for ‘the norm’. When I emigrated to Australia, he was the only person who didn’t challenge my decision as being silly. He told me to go and explore the world and to live every day as if it were the last. This has given me great tenacity and I do not fear going out of my comfort zone. There’s no excuse for not trying.”
