Our Team of the Month Award is made for the outstanding work of our Control and Mobile Team.

Working in security requires seamlessly matching the “eyes and ears” of operations with rapid, “boots-on-the-ground” response, and these colleagues have shown outstanding teamwork and great commitment to achieving continuous improvement for our growing business.

Operating a control room is a challenging environment where you can never fully anticipate what will happen on client sites from one minute to the next. Our operators are an important first point of call, when often complex and difficult situations arise.

The vital communication and teamwork between the control centre and the mobile units are what create successful security outcomes for our clients. These two teams have worked incredibly hard as a unit to manage an increased workload, constantly helping each other out, while strengthening their shared team bond.

Recently, the demands on our teams grew significantly with the addition of a major contract featuring a large portfolio of 350 new sites and while, the transition has been genuinely challenging, the team has stepped up by

• Adapting through the challenges: they have absorbed the new sites through a demanding transition period, showing impressive commitment and resilience.
• Maintaining high standards: they continue to deliver high professional standards  through continuous professional improvement and development.
• Customer-first approach: the control team has managed the stress and challenges of this expansion admirably, putting their recent customer service training into action.

An expansion of this size cannot fail to bring occasional hurdles, but the team has demonstrated a strong commitment to resolving these quickly as they arise with a positive attitude.
