Once again, the generosity of our colleagues provided valuable help to Leeds South & East Foodbank (Together with Trussell) in December at a time when many local people and families would have found themselves experiencing even harder financial challenges.

As they came in and out of our Leeds Headquarters in December, our people donated 26.8kg of non-perishable food items to the charity and their kindness made a huge difference.

The foodbank wrote to us saying: “Thank you for your recent donation to St Andrews Foodbank. Your donation of 26.8kg means we can provide 64 meals to people in need. We really appreciate your support.”

Last year, Leeds South & East Foodbank supported nearly 17k people in the local area with food parcels. They do not receive government or council funding and all donations are essential for them to continue supporting local people.
