A trusted shield: Abbas gives vital support with sensitivity at Steeton site

An Outstanding Colleague of the Month Award has been presented to our very deserved colleague Abbas.

Good security is about being a trusted shield for the people around us, and Abbas has proved exactly what it means to demonstrate our company values of Support and Trust.

Following an unexpected incident on site, a staff member was left in a highly vulnerable and deeply distressed state. Abbas was the very first person to arrive at the scene.

Faced with a high-tension situation, Abbas reacted immediately, displaying extreme professionalism. He quickly and accurately assessed the situation to ensure everyone's safety. He showed great sensitivity: recognising the emotional state of the distressed staff member, he took control of the area while prioritising their welfare above all else. Taking swift control of the situation, he promptly contacted the police to ensure law enforcement took immediate action. While managing the scene, Abbas efficiently gathered crucial CCTV evidence with which the police were able to make a successful arrest.
